Email automation: Conditional sequence start based on registration date

I'd like participants in a masterclass or event to receive automation sequence emails from the day they register, rather than from the start of the sequence (D1) if they register later. Currently, if a participant enters the automation at D3, they receive emails from D1 and D2. It's important to be able to ignore past emails to offer a relevant experience and avoid sending out-of-date content.
